Breakfast or no breakfast?

We have been told if not by our doctors, the health media and, of course our mothers, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. And try as we may, most of us have more excuses for not eating in the morning than kids have for not doing their homework! However, the WORD has not fallen on deaf ears to some of us who have diciplined ourselves to get up a little bit earlier and break the fast at least if it's only to eat a protein bar, down a bowl of cereal or drink a glass of orange juice.

Well Reckonauts: Do you eat breakfast in the morning or do you skip the most important meal of the day and rationalize that a cup of coffee is all that you need?

I'm a notorious breakfast skipper.  That's because I don't fall in line with the all-powerful breakfast lobby and its insistence that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  They may try to get Wilford Brimley to browbeat me into eating oatmeal, but I will never relent!  Never surrender!


Although your first meal of the day, regardless of what time it is, is usually a bowl of cereal. So you may have been subconsciously compromised by the breakfast lobby after all. 


I've gotten into the habit of eating something at my desk at work in the mornings, so I am getting a breakfast of sorts.  I'm just not trying to get up early enough in the mornings to make and eat it at home.
