Should I Introduce Her To My Family?

I've been dating my girlfriend for about 3 months. We see each other a few times a week and all weekend. Before that, we were casual friends, but she never met any members of my family.

I'm just crazy about her, but we haven't been dating that long. I've just gotten used to calling her my girlfriend and I'm not ready for 'love.'

I live in a town in between where my parents live and where my grandparents live, which is where we are celebrating Christmas this year. My parents are picking me up on their way to my grandparent's house in a couple days. My girlfriend knows this and would like to meet them when they stop by. We don't live together, so she would be there especially to meet them. Also, my mother was really tough on my high school girlfriend, so I haven't introduced any other past girlfriends to her, even though my ex turned out to deserve it.

What do you think I should do?

Reckoning Comments!

In many cases, it's not a bad idea to have a 'break-in' encounter, where they can meet each other briefly but there's very little to hang judgment on.  Just a 'hello', some pleasantries, and then the sound of peeling rubber in the driveway.  This way, you control the message, since you'll be the one peppered with questions on the rest of the way home.

Godspeed, good soldier.
